Excellent expirience (as usual) Designer Safaris has once again done an excellent job. The planning went absolutely smoothly beforehand. Even a last-minute cancellation was handled without any problems. The selected lodges (Kibo in Amboseli NP and Kilaguni in Tsavo West NP) were exquisite. George, our guide and driver, impressed us with his truly extensive knowledge of the wildlife and flora of Kenya. He also joined in on all the fun. We felt very comfortable with him and would love to travel with him again in the future. Thank you very much to Eunice, Mutuma Koome, and George for giving us an unforgettable time in Kenya.Dirk, Monika, and Leonie

The most wonderful experience The team at designer safari created the most wonderful trip for me and my family. From the moment we began planning, they were amazingly helpful, with great insights into how we could get the most from the trip, and helped us to design a trip that included everything we had hoped for, and more. On arrival, our guide was nothing short of exceptional - incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and kind. He ensured a super engaging and fun time together for all of us, with an extra special experience for our eight year old - engaging her with jokes and giggles to make those long journeys between places seem to fly by.I was worried this trip would be intense for a youngster (and her grandparents), but the designer safari team truly knew their stuff, and designed something with us that accommodated everyone’s needs, and interests (and limits), so that we have all left Kenya with amazing memories. I would highly recommend them!

Wow! A truly magnificent safari What an experience! We travelled from Nairobi to Aberdares, Ol Pajeta, Lake Nakuru, the Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. It was such a marvellous trip observing the wildlife in its natural surroundings, the culture of the Kenyan people, especially the Maasai, the beautiful landscapes and the privilege of having such a great guide. We were very fortunate to see some wonderful animals and at close quarters that made the experience so much more "real". Our guide George was exceptional. He was very attentive to our requests, helped us find the animals we were likely to encounter, named every one, especially all the birds, and gave us a much more involved experience. He was courteous, friendly, exceptionally well informed about the wildlife, the Kenyan culture, the landscapes and an exceptionally skilled driver through some of the wildest terrain and rough roads. Without his experience and guiding skill, I do not think we would have enjoyed the trip as much as we did; he is a great credit to your organisation. Our accommodations were excellent and provided all the "home comforts" we could have expected. Three meals a day was a challenge to fulfil! Our early morning starts were sometimes a struggle but very worthwhile in providing us with better opportunities to see the animals out for their breakfasts! The Amboseli balloon ride was another unforgettable experience and gave us the opportunity to see Mount Kilimanjaro in all its glory when we had risen above the cloud base. This was a truly bespoke designed safari.

Exceptional vacation Incredible, incredible, incredible experience for my first time in Nairobi, Kenya. I was blessed to attend a yoga retreat with my fitness instructor and 4 other ladies. We were pampered at our accommodations from the moment we set foot on the ground. Our shoes were washed upon our return after a day of hiking etc. They knew us by name. The service was above and beyond. I loved the quiet, calm atmosphere in a gated community. There were other guests staying at this "bed and breakfast" type place and because there were so many spots to gather or sit alone and relax, you never really felt like it was crowded. I enjoyed days on a lounger reading, time in the pool and steam room, along with a very much needed massage. I shared a room with a friend and it was over the top clean and they even folded our dirty clothes. It was convenient to have laundry services right on site. Meals were served when it worked for our group. Three meals a day if we were on site. The fresh fruit and juices were something I looked forward to every day. The lunches and dinners were all very delicious. We had a different soup almost everyday and so unique and delicious. Our table would be set up in different areas, outside. Two times were not going to be in attendance for lunch, so they packed up bag lunches. Our driver Richard was so professional, was very knowledgable about the area and was able to answer all of our questions. His driving skills amazed us in an extremely busy traffic based area. We felt very safe with him at all times. The two ladies, Nina and Marion were top notch. They were there to help us and serve us when needed. Two very friendly, upbeat smiley ladies. Anything from serving me water in the garden to carrying our luggage upstairs to our rooms and filling our water bottles to serving our meals. Wilson was over the top in his cleaning of the rooms and in general the whole place. Perfection was his priority. I have never been somewhere that was as clean as this place was. If we needed a fan, he brought one, if you needed more water he was there to get some, and was always checking to see if everything was ok. In regard to any of the places we visited, it was so well organized, that we just jump in the van and head to where we were going, having confidence in Designer Safari for getting us there. If you are at all considering visiting Kenya, I highly recommend using Designer Series. They know how to do it right.

Amazing experience & easy booking process Designer Safari curated an incredible one-day experience for me while I had limited time in Nairobi. I went on a private tour of Nairobi National Park, which included a visit to a nearby elephant orphanage and a giraffe center, and was guided by my expert guide, Robert. I highly recommend Designer Safari!

Perfect anniversary trip We booked an 18 day anniversary trip with designer safaris and it was a dream come true! Everything was perfectly planned out for us, we got to see everything you could ever imagine and probably more! I would absolutely recommend designer safaris and we will definitely use them again! We can’t thank you guys enough for a perfect trip!
